To use or not to use?

Hello I am on day one of the weight watchers points plus diet. So I know that I get the aloted 38 points daily and the extra 35 points weekly. What I am wondering is, is it a good idea to actually use the 35 extra points? I did use 4 of the extra today. It is just something I am curious about. I would love to know what other's think about the extra points.
Use the points! It is good for your motivation (you feel less deprived) and it is good for your metabolism (your body knows it can get more calories if it needs it so it stays out of "starvation mode").
